Booking terms

1. Who we are

Your contract is with Hegarty House Ltd (formerly SH Policy Support Limited), registered in England and Wales, company number 16080519. Registered office: 6 Wymbush Crescent, Bristol, England, BS13 0BB. VAT number GB480199962.

2. Who can book, prices and paying

• You must be 18 or over to book, and everyone taking part must be 18 or over at the time of booking. By booking, you confirm this. For FIRE-UP Teams, the organisation booking confirms that every participant is 18 or over.
• Prices for coaching and FIRE-UP Discovery include VAT. FIRE-UP Teams is priced plus VAT.
• You pay by card, Apple Pay or Google Pay on a secure Square payment page. Square processes the payment; Hegarty House Ltd is the seller.
• Your booking is made when your payment goes through. We’ll confirm it by email.

3. Coaching sessions: Taster, Pay as you go and Personal

After you pay, we’ll get in touch to arrange your session times.

Rescheduling and late cancellation

• You can reschedule free of charge with at least 24 hours’ notice.
• If you cancel or miss a session with less than 24 hours’ notice, it normally counts as the session used. We’ll always consider genuine emergencies.

FIRE-UP Taster

• Up to three Tasters per person.
• If you book Pay as you go or the four-session package within 24 hours of your Taster ending, your £49 Taster fee is credited towards it.

FIRE-UP Personal: four conversations

• Four sessions of 45–60 minutes, arranged across roughly six to eight weeks.
• Pay £495 in full, or two payments of £250. If you pay in two parts, the second £250 is due 30 days after the first, and we’ll send you an invoice for it.
• After your 14-day cancellation period (see section 6), sessions you don’t use are non-refundable.

4. FIRE-UP Discovery

Six live online sessions on Thursday evenings, 7:00–8:30pm UK time, on the dates for your cohort.

• Your place is confirmed once you’ve paid. We’ll send joining details before Session One.
• To protect everyone’s privacy, sessions aren’t recorded, and we ask you not to record, screenshot or share what others say.

If too few people book

Each cohort needs at least six people. If fewer than six have booked when bookings close, we may postpone or cancel that cohort. You’ll then choose between moving your place to another cohort or a full refund. We won’t keep your money as credit without your agreement.

If you cancel after your 14-day cancellation period

Tell us as soon as you can. Before Session One, we may be able to move you to another cohort. Otherwise, any amount we keep will be fair, based on what we’ve already provided, costs caused or saved by your cancellation, and whether we can fill your place. We’ll explain how we worked it out.

5. FIRE-UP Teams

• Scope, date and fee are agreed in writing before anything is booked.
• Pay in full at booking, or 50% when you accept in writing and the remaining 50% 14 days before the workshop. Bookings made less than 14 days before the workshop are paid in full in advance.

If you need to cancel

• More than 28 days before the workshop: full refund, less 25% of the fee.
• 14 to 28 days before: 50% of the fee is kept.
• Less than 14 days before: the full fee is payable.

Changes

• You can move the workshop once, free of charge, with at least 14 days’ notice, to a date within three months.
• You can swap participants at no cost. The fee doesn’t reduce if fewer people attend.
• If we have to cancel, you choose between a new date and a full refund.

6. Your 14-day right to cancel

If you book coaching or Discovery for yourself online or by phone, UK law normally gives you 14 days to cancel without giving a reason. The 14 days start the day after you book.

• If you cancel a Discovery place within 14 days of booking, and before your cohort has started, you get a full refund.
• To cancel, email hello@hegartyhouse.co.uk, call 0800 34 11 247 or write to our registered office. You can use the form at the end of this page, but you don’t have to.
• We’ll refund you within 14 days of hearing from you, to the card or account you paid with, with no refund fee.
• This right doesn’t apply to FIRE-UP Teams, which is bought by organisations.

7. If we need to change something

• If we have to cancel a coaching session, we’ll rearrange it with you or refund that session.
• We may make small changes to exercises, running order or the online platform where it helps the session and doesn’t reduce what you paid for.
• If a session can’t reasonably go ahead, we’ll offer a replacement, a price reduction or a refund, as the law requires.

8. What FIRE-UP is and isn’t

FIRE-UP is development coaching and facilitation. It isn’t therapy, medical or clinical care, crisis support, or legal or financial advice, and we can’t guarantee any particular outcome. We provide our services with reasonable care and skill and as described. See our legal information and privacy notice.

9. Complaints and the law

If something isn’t right, please tell us at hello@hegartyhouse.co.uk so we can put it right. These terms are governed by the law of England and Wales. Nothing in them affects your statutory rights, and if you live elsewhere in the UK you keep any mandatory consumer rights where you live.
