Hegarty House / 19 October 2026
Good work should be good for the people doing it.
This policy sets out the standards Hegarty House Ltd expects in its own work and in relationships with people and organisations supplying or delivering services with us. It is a voluntary public policy, not a statutory modern slavery statement under section 54 of the Modern Slavery Act 2015.
How we expect people to be treated
We do not accept forced labour, human trafficking, threats, coercion or exploitation. Work should be entered into freely, with clear expectations and respect for each person's dignity, rights and circumstances. Nobody should be asked to surrender identity documents or work under intimidation.
We expect lawful, fair and respectful conduct in our own arrangements and in work undertaken on our behalf. Where a concern is raised, we will take it seriously and consider the appropriate response.
Suppliers and associates
Hegarty House uses third-party services and may work with external facilitators, collaborators and suppliers. We aim to make proportionate checks based on the type of work, the people involved and the risks we can reasonably identify. We expect collaborators and suppliers to comply with applicable law and to tell us if they become aware of exploitation connected with work for Hegarty House.
When concerns arise, we may ask questions, review an arrangement, seek advice, or pause or end work where appropriate. We do not claim that every supplier has been independently audited or certified.
Raising a concern
If something connected with Hegarty House work or a supplier concerns you, email hello@hegartyhouse.co.uk or call 0800 34 11 247. Tell us what you know and how you would like us to respond. You do not need to have all the answers before getting in touch.
We will handle concerns as sensitively as circumstances permit, while recognising that legal or safeguarding obligations may require appropriate disclosure. If someone is in immediate danger in the UK, call 999.
Review and accountability
We will review this policy when our operations, staffing or supply arrangements materially change and at least annually. Any significant concern will be considered against our legal, safeguarding and governance responsibilities.
This policy describes expectations and intended action; it is not a claim of independent assurance, a completed supply-chain audit or a guarantee that no risk can occur.
